MutiaraMUN is an Model UN conference founded by students from Penang and beyond. We are dedicated to fostering the next generations of global leaders. We offer engaging debates, insightful discussions and with high quality committees that stimulate real-world international diplomacy.
Our mission is to provide students an immersive experience in international relations, cultivate a generation of critical-thinkers, confident speakers and global speakers through debates, diplomacy, and collaboration. We strive to provide an inclusive environment where everyone can engage in meaningful discussions on pressing global issues.

Letter from the Secretary General
Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to MutiaraMUN 2025. As we gather to simulate the workings of the United Nations, we are not just role-playing; we are actively shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
This year, our conference theme is "Fostering Global Cooperation in an Era of Change." We will tackle pressing issues such as climate change, economic inequality, and technological ethics. I challenge each of you to step out of your comfort zones, to debate passionately yet respectfully, and to craft innovative solutions to these global challenges.
Remember, the skills you develop here – diplomacy, public speaking, critical thinking, and collaboration – will serve you well beyond this conference. You are the future policymakers, diplomats, and global leaders. Make your voice heard, and let your actions here be the first steps towards the positive change you wish to see in the world.
