By accessing or using the MutiaraMUN website, registering for our conferences, or participating in our events, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting an updated version on our website. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Registration and Participation

3.1 Eligibility

MutiaraMUN conferences and events are primarily designed for secondary and university students. Participants must meet the eligibility requirements specified for each event.

3.2 Registration Process

Registration for MutiaraMUN conferences and events is subject to availability and approval. We reserve the right to refuse registration without providing a reason.

3.3 Fees and Payment

Registration fees must be paid according to the payment schedule provided. Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation of your registration.

3.4 Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies will be specified for each event. Generally, refunds are available on a sliding scale based on how far in advance the cancellation is made. No refunds will be provided for no-shows or cancellations made after the specified deadline.

4. Conduct and Participation

All participants must adhere to our Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the event without refund and/or prohibition from future events.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content on the MutiaraMUN website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MutiaraMUN or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

5.2 Your Content

By submitting position papers, resolutions, or other materials to MutiaraMUN, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute such materials for educational and promotional purposes.

5.3 Photography and Recording

MutiaraMUN may photograph or record events for educational and promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being photographed and recorded, and to the use of such material by MutiaraMUN.

6. Limitation of Liability

MutiaraMUN and its organizers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services or participation in our events.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MutiaraMUN, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your use of our services or participation in our events.

8. Force Majeure

MutiaraMUN shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or civil unrest.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation in accordance with the rules of the Asian International Arbitration Centre.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
